Lauder and Rees Brand Identity

A new look for established opticians Lauder and Rees


We are very pleased to announce the launch of our new website for Lauder and Rees. One of London’s premier opticians.

The client approached us to help modernise their entire brand, including website, instore graphics and logo.

With a creative treatment that included a new, modern colour palette and font selection, we designed a range of branded items including:

  • Bags
  • Lens cleaning cloths
  • Glasses cases
  • Business cards

A sight for sore eyes

Considering the subject matter, we decided to give users the ability to control text size on the website. This helps those with particularly poor eyesight and helps us meet W3C accessibility standards.

The site is fully responsive for mobile devices and was built using WordPress with improved SEO capabilities.

Lauder and Rees can now target their key customer sectors – Hospitals and Private Clients – using ‘tagged’ custom post-types.

A bright new future for us and our client

Our agency has grown during the time spent working with Lauder and Rees and with this we decided to create a sister agency that specialises in this type of project.

In future, Lauder and Rees will be expertly handled by the team at LWDA (London Web Design Agency).

The good news is that the team at LWDA is comprised of the same skilled developers and designers that worked under the Devstars umbrella. So the client can be assured of the same high level of service.

The team at LWDA are looking forward to extending the opticians brand across their three stores, as well as possibly moving into social media and e-commerce in the near future.
