Devstars
Case Studies
Eleven years after we first started working with SlimFast, and three owners later, we were asked to launch the brand’s new product range online. The new pages had to be turned around in record time, and the bespoke platform we built over a decade ago made that possible.
We are proud to have worked with SlimFast for longer than any other agency in the UK, and quite possibly the world.
We started working with SlimFast in 2015, when KSF bought the brand from Unilever. Since then it has passed to Glanbia and now to Supreme, who acquired SlimFast UK & Europe in 2025. Through every transition, Devstars has kept the trust of the core marketing team, and the site has kept working. That is the quiet advantage of building bespoke: with regular care, a platform can outlast the businesses that commission it.

SlimFast’s new owners, Supreme, are putting real imagination back into the brand: a new range of protein, fibre, collagen, creatine and hydration products, designed to support people using GLP-1 medications as well as the classic 3.2.1 Plan.
They needed the new range live on slimfast.co.uk fast. New landing pages, a Weight Loss Support hub, updated navigation and product content, all turned around on a launch deadline, on a platform first built more than ten years ago and lightly invested in by some previous owners.
The question every off-the-shelf platform owner dreads: would a decade-old build stand up to it?
We refreshed and extended the site for the launch: new landing pages for The New Range and Weight Loss Support, a full range listing, updated navigation, and new product detail pages for the GLP-1 Support range.
Alongside the content work, we updated and managed the site’s schema.org structured data. Structured data is the machine-readable layer that tells Google, and increasingly AI search engines, exactly what each page contains. Keeping product, recipe and organisation schema accurate means new products are catalogued correctly and surface quickly in search results, which matters most in the critical weeks after a launch.
The new range pages went live on schedule, in record time for a project of this scope. Content updates were turned around within days of arriving from the SlimFast team, often quicker.
The build itself is the longer story. A bespoke platform, maintained properly, gave an eleven-year-old website the flexibility to take on a brand relaunch that many newer off-the-shelf sites would have struggled with. No re-platforming, no licence upgrades, no waiting on a vendor roadmap. Just new pages, fresh content and clean structured data, shipped fast.
SlimFast has been through many evolutions over the years. With Supreme focusing on products that genuinely help people, the brand looks to be in strong hands, and we’re looking forward to what comes next.
