Dash Rides

Businesses waste time and money moving people over short distances via the use of taxi cabs and other motorised vehicles. By providing a fleet of fully-serviced scooters and e-bikes, Dash Rides empower their customers to embrace sustainability without compromising profit.

Devstars were asked create a Web Application to help manage the UK’s first salary-sacrifice e-bike subscription service.


A Web Application that allow Dash to onboard Employees, who in turn, become ambassadors and sell in to their organisations.

How do you scale a business? Every start up wants to maximise the number of hours in the day they have to launch their new idea. We have been working with Dash from concept and have helped with identity and initial one-page website through to a full web application for their clients to use.


The Challenge

To minimise the amount of time Dash needed to manage their new clients through the sign up process. We then needed to create a simple to use interface to the new clients, allowing them to onboard their employees with a minimum fuss.

The system also needed to allow the client’s HR departments to download accurate wage deduction amounts for each member of their staff.

The Result

Using a very agile process, we have been working on optimising the onboarding process for both clients and employees. Using tools like HotJar and GA, we were able to remove friction points and improve the conversion rates over the first for weeks of going live.

Since going live, the modular bespoke build has allowed Devstars and Dash to build in new communication platforms and adjust all the legal documentation when needed, without the need for expensive, time consuming development.
