Forma House is a leading UK distributor of premium home and lifestyle brands who primarily sell B2B. The primary target of the site is the trade user, with login areas showing reduced bulk prices, suggested products (such as POS and marketing materials) and new ideas and brands.

We also helped the company pivot the website, allowing regular consumers to purchase goods from the collections of home and lifestyle brands.

Trade focussed with support for consumer pricing and store locators.

To support the stockists, we guide visitors to their local retailers throughout the site and especially at the point of purchase, giving customers the choice to buy online through Forma or visit a stockist.

Forma House provides alternative pricing for trade visitors that can only be viewed when logged-in via a trade account.

The Challenge

We needed to recreate the exact way that Forma House sells to their clients into the new website.

 

It is crucial for B2B clients to feel that their business is important to Forma House and that they get the same level of service as phoning into the office.

 

We also needed to convert the store to be managed from their new ERP, Brightpearl

The Result

We built the site using the Yii (Yes It Is) Framework which allows fast and consistent development of bespoke projects.

 

The site has been very fast loading and very secure for a number of years. This is without a large amount of maintenance needed. The client only needs Devstars when changing or upgrading the platform.
