LWDA/Devstars were asked by our long-term partners at Investors in Property to build an MVP (minimal viable product) website aimed at servicing the growing Swiss property market.
IIP regularly sell properties in the Swiss Alps, but they did not have a mechanic for attracting potential property sellers. So the idea was born to build a high-converting website specifically aimed at this market.
The website would also support potential buyers via online enquiry forms or by passing them over to the IIP website via individual property lists.
Time was of the essence with this project, and the budget was relatively tight, so it was agreed that we would launch with an MVP-level website at first. This would enable IIP a chance to test the water – or should that be snow? – without committing to a big spend.
The focus would be on driving enquiries for users looking to sell a property that they own in the Swiss Alps. With that in mind, we would need to place several CTAs throughout the user journey which were obvious and easy to interact with.
Enquiry forms were linked to Salesforce, which IIP use to manage their customer and property details.
The copy was to be kept to a minimum, with much of the detail being delivered via the use of video and a supporting blog. Video is becoming increasingly important as a tool to connect brands with their target audience and it’s something that IIP have embraced.
Lastly, the website would need to target users in several territories, so multi-language capabilities were essential. We implemented the Weglot website translation plugin to help do much of the heavy lifting.
If done well, website translation can give your website a huge SEO boost, so we’ll be focussing heavily on that with the client in weeks & months ahead.
